What will you be doing?

As a scale-up, we are on the verge of scaling up the sale of horticultural drones. A super exciting phase to further expand our international customer network. And that's where you come in!

As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for the international sales of the drones and maintaining customer relationships.

You are not a standard salesperson, but someone who knows how to find the right customer for our drones. The drones are 'standard', but sometimes it requires coordination between the company and the customer to close a deal. So, you need to empathize with the business processes of our customers: the large greenhouse horticulture companies. You are a driven sales manager with skills in business development. And also, you contribute to an even more sustainable production of beautiful and healthy crops.

With our drones, we assist growers in monitoring the growth and health of horticultural, promoting even more sustainable cultivation, and responding to the demands of the retail and consumers. We offer it as Drone as a Service (DaaS), prioritizing ease of use for our customers. Our office is located in the innovation hub Roots in Ede, in the beautiful historic Maurits building. We are passionate about drones and also enjoy playing table football.

What you need:

  • COMPETENCES Our core values are openness and sincerity, and naturally, they should resonate with you. This also applies to the dynamics of a scale-up company. These competences are also important: collaborative, team player, communicative - and above all, attentive listening -, goal oriented, autonomous self starter, self reflection, and a sense of humor. Of course, you speak several languages. You don't need to be a tech-freak. You sell information and help growers to improve their business;
  • EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE You are, for example, ready for your second or third job. You have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, as well as knowledge and/or experience in the (greenhouse) horticulture sector. Sales or account management experience is definitely an advantage. You love to travel, and the words 'discover', 'dare', and 'develop' resonate with you.
